Juanita is Coordinator at the US Census Bureau and a Community advocate improving social and economic conditions for farmworkers, immigrants and women.
She has served on the Florida State Advisory Council for US Commission on Civil Rights and the Mexican American Arts and Cultural Council, Inc.
Juanita Co-Founded Mujeres, Unidas, en Justicia, Educacion, y Reforma, Women, United in Justice, Education, and Reform.
She assisted her husband, Executive Director of Centro Campesino-Farmworker Center, Inc. after Hurricane Andrew and continues working in disaster response.
