A huge congratulations to Haley Blakeman for such an accomplishment.
Haley is one of 19 members elevated by The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Fellows for their exceptional contributions to the landscape architecture profession. Election to the Council of Fellows is one of the highest honors the ASLA bestows on members and is based on their works, leadership/management, knowledge and service.
SMHA has a long history of progressive, innovative architects. Haley was a member of the exceptional Architects Southwest team members working with SMHA on the design of Teche Ridgeand spent many hours in the week long charrettes in 2006. That same team participated in the charrettes of West End in New Iberia.
SMHA was proud to recommend her for her nomination and couldn’t be happier for her!
